Armor™ 500 is a ballistic protection steel with high hardness, offering excellent resistance against impact and ballistic threats. It is available in thicknesses ranging from 2 mm to 30 mm with a hardness range of 490 – 560 HBW, making it suitable for demanding military, defense, and security applications.
Armor 500 Steel is supplied as cut-to-length sheets in thicknesses of 2 mm to 6.5 mm and as steel plates in thicknesses of 6 mm to 30 mm. These plates are delivered in a quenched condition to ensure maximum strength and durability, and they are not intended for further heat treatment.
